BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - The annual Christmas tree lighting at the Mall of Louisiana is taking place tonight from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Entry to the event is free if you bring a canned or non-perishable food item. The items will be donated to the Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank.
The first 500 people to join “The Club”, the Mall of Lousiana's membership program, will receive a light-up reindeer nose to help light up the way for Santa.
Baton Rouge Mayor Kip Holden will be in attendance.
