BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - A UL Lafayette Political analyst says there's a sea of change not just in both houses of Congress, but in state legislatures across America.
"Currently, the Republicans have about 4,100 out of 7,383 legislative seats. That's the highest by the way since 1920," said Pearson Cross at the Baton Rouge Press Club Monday.
Cross said that many republican campaigns featured ‘Hate President Obama' themes and did not announce what they would do once elected. So it's not clear what Republicans propose now that they control majorities in the House and Senate.
