CENTERVILLE, LA (WAFB) - A suspected killer who was arrested out of state was sent back to Louisiana on Thursday to face a murder charge.
The St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office reported Henderson Wesley, 22, of Jeanerette, was booked into the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center in Centerville around 12:30 p.m.
He faces a charge of second-degree murder in the shooting death of Ronald Chillis Jr., 32, of Four Corners. The shooting happened on October 8. Investigators reported Chillis was shot multiple times and died at the hospital.
Wesley was arrested in Port Arthur, Texas, and was transported to St. Mary Parish by the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office in Beaumont.
Anthony Loston, 24, also of Jeanerette, was arrested the day after the deadly shooting. He is charged with principal to second-degree murder.
Trial dates have not been set for the suspects.
