BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - Imagine a café where people can watch pelicans float by or an ecological learning spot where children can check out the wonders of nature.
These are just some of the ideas that were shared on what the LSU Lakes Master Plan can include at the public meeting held Thursday night at LSU.
The folks behind the Baton Rouge Area Foundation's Master plan wanted the public's input..
"We need the people to come out, support the project, share their ideas for the lakes. and what they want them to become and I think that will help with the implementation of the project over the next five to 10 years," said Mukul Verma, Baton Rouge Area Foundation.
The master plan should be completed next year.
