BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - Senator Mary Landrieu not wasting any time getting back on the campaign trail after last nights' race ended in a runoff. She was out Wednesday at a couple of events talking about her accomplishments and experience while taking jabs at her opponent Bill Cassidy for constantly tying her to President Obama.
Landrieu says he needs to focus on himself instead of making the race about other people.
"This is the time for Bill Cassidy to stand up and talk about his own pitiful record, not about the president's record, not about Mitch McConnell's record, not about Harry Reid's record, not about the Republican Party or the Democratic Party,” says Landrieu. “Bill, it's time for you to standup.”
Governor Bobby Jindal addressed the media Wednesday to show his support for Cassidy.
The runoff is Dec. 6.
