BRUSLY, LA (WAFB) - Voters in Brusly have made their decision on who their new police chief will be. With 55 percent of the vote, Jonathan Jules Lefeaux, the youngest of the two candidates and a life-long resident of Brusly will take the position.
Lefeaux has worked in law enforcement for 15 years.
He is currently a lieutenant with the Port Allen City Marshals office.
Jamie Whaley, the former police chief, was arrested on theft and forgery charges.
