BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - Thousands of Rebel and Tiger fans were out early Saturday morning for one of the biggest SEC matchups of the season.

Fans from LSU and Ole Miss were cooking gumbo to fried catfish and everything in between. The cast of the popular ESPN show College Game Day were out giving their predictions of the game, as thousands of fans cheered behind them.  What makes the rivalry more intense this year is homecoming. LSU looks to win their third straight SEC win, while Ole Miss looks to stay undefeated.

Gabriella Dupuy is from Louisiana but goes to Ole Miss. She said LSU's homecoming is really different than the one for the Rebels.

“Comparing the two is like apples to oranges,” said Dupuy. “LSU is completely different. This is more spread out and Ole Miss is more together.”

But fans say that it doesn't matter what homecoming you prefer, or what's your favorite team. All that matters is that you're a part of the crowd.
