"The release of School Performance Scores and Letter Grades demonstrates that our schools and students continue to excel in the face of more rigorous standards and increasing expectations. Each year we see the number of failing schools in the Recovery School District decrease statewide and this year was no exception. I am proud of the progress our students, teachers, and principals are making and confident that they will continue to perform above and beyond expectations in years to come."
