BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - Seemingly loved by everyone who knew him and now incredibly missed by everyone who knew him. Friday is a heartbreaking anniversary for many people in Baton Rouge.
Friday, Oct. 24, marks a year since 38-year old Shelby Holmes was shot while walking home down Braddock Street. Police say Holmes was shot several times and still had his wallet on him when he was found.
He died a few days later. Friends say Holmes had an impact on people in the community.
