BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - Residents in one Baton Rouge neighborhood are aggravated with thieves who have been stealing packages from their doorsteps. But one woman caught one thief in action on her surveillance camera.

Danielle Satawa says she has had enough.

Last Friday, her security camera caught an SUV pull up into her driveway and a man getting out. He then heads to her front door and it appears that he swiped a package that was left on the porch.

"He had no idea whether I was home or not," said Satawa.

Neighbors say this is not an isolated incident.

Satawa says she isn't scared, she is just aggravated.

"I've got a full time job and three kids. I have packages delivered because I don't have the time to go shopping," she said.

But the crook didn't get off with much this time.

"It was Girl Scout beads for little girls to make daisy scout bracelets. The joke's on him. He got something not worth anything to anybody but 6 year old little girls," said Satawa.

Baton Rouge Police are investigating the case and Satawa's video will help.

However, if you have any information that can help solve this case, please contact Crime Stoppers at 225-344-STOP(7867).
