BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - Three people were taken into custody Friday by State Police following a search warrant at a home in North Baton Rouge.
The warrant was executed at a home in the 4600 block of Evangeline Street near Plank Road. Officials say the suspects were breaking into pharmacies and stealing prescription medications across the state.
But authorities say one of the suspects did not go easily.
"Apparently when we went to do the search warrant two individuals came out of the house, but the individual that authorities were looking for was still inside the house hiding," said Jared Sandifer with State Police. "So we were able to actually find that individual hiding in that residence and pulled him out of the house."
The names of those in custody and charges have not been released.
