20,000 latex balloons used to create art at Louisiana Art and Science Museum

BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - Sculptor Jason Hackenwerth is finishing his latest creation in the Louisiana Art and Science Museum on the Baton Rouge Riverfront.

Using latex balloons he fills with helium, he makes large-scale floating almost biological looking creations. He has several in the museum.

Watch as WAFB news videographer James Degraauw watched as the final part of 20,000 balloons were installed by Hackenwerth and volunteers at the museum. Enjoy the floating array of colors!
