BRAVE patrols net several suspects on various charges

BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - Authorities said BRAVE officers in Baton Rouge recently arrested several suspects on various gun, drug and other charges.

The Baton Rouge Police Department reported the following suspects were taken into custody:

Julian Washington, 21, of Zachary - Illegal possession of stolen firearm

Eradley Ben, 23, of Ville Platte - Illegal carrying of weapons, criminal damage to property and resisting an officer

Alvin Ellis, 20, of Baton Rouge - Illegal discharge of a firearm, illegal carrying of a firearm and resisting arrest by flight

Albert Harris, 25, of Baton Rouge - Possession with intent to distribute marijuana

Terrance Hart, 36, of Baton Rouge - Possession with intent to distribute crack cocaine

Abbott Buchbaum, 18, of Metairie - Possession with intent to distribute marijuana (excess 28 grams)

Kaitlin Glasser, 20, of Metairie - Possession with intent to distribute marijuana (excess 28 grams)

Pierre Bell, 25, of Baton Rouge - Simple robbery, domestic abuse battery and fugitive of parole and probation

Officials said BRAVE units were patrolling near Southern University on Saturday and confiscated three guns from suspects.

They added officers seized a gram of crack cocaine on Wednesday. They also discovered 562 grams of "high grade" marijuana, a stolen handgun and cash.

On that same day, investigators found 2.3 grams of MDMA ("Molly"), .5 grams of marijuana ("Wax"), 13 grams of marijuana, seven marijuana plants and more than $1,600 in cash.

Police also reported the arrest of a robbery suspect on Wednesday.
