Sheriff: Man wanted for stealing 8 buggy loads of merchandise from Dollar General

BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - East Baton Rouge Sheriff's Detectives are looking for a man that stole eight buggy loads worth of merchandise from Dollar General at 15105 Greenwell Springs Road.

The merchandise is valued at more than $1,000. The theft happened on September 21, 2014.

The suspect is described as a black male wearing a white shirt, black shorts, weighing approximately 250 lbs and is approximately 6'1.

According to deputies, the suspect also allegedly entered the store on September 25, 2014 and attempted to steal merchandise, but ran out of the store when approached by the manager.

He was allegedly driving a small brown truck or a small blue car.
