BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - Baton Rouge residents took full advantage of the amazing fall weather this weekend and went to the Sunday in the Park event in Downtown Baton Rouge.
The free live music will be available for everyone to enjoy six Sundays in October and November from 2 p.m. until 5 p.m.
The first Sunday in the Park event featured Curley Taylor and his band Zydeco Trouble. He is a great Zydeco performer who has played with the likes of CJ Chenier.
The series provides an excellent opportunity for everyone to celebrate community and enjoy music in a fun family-friendly environment. There will be face painting and balloon creations for kids.
You're encouraged to bring your lawn chairs.
