FRANKLIN, LA (WAFB) - Fire investigators said they are trying to identify a suspect after a hunting camp was intentionally set on fire.
The St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office reported it happened on the bank of Bayou Choupique near Franklin. The fire was reported on September 22, but it is not known exactly when it happened.
Authorities said the preliminary investigation indicates it was arson. The Franklin Fire Department assisted sheriff's office detectives with the investigation.
Detectives said the camp was last seen intact on September 14.
