BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - A man has been arrested in connection with the stabbing death of his girlfriend.
William Jackson, 40, was charged with second degree murder and obstruction of justice in the death of Lakeisha Duncan, 32, of Baton Rouge.
Police went to Duncan's home on Courtland Circle, which is near BREC Oak Villa Park, around 4 a.m. Saturday after a 911 call. According to reports, a man with stab wounds answered the door at the home and reportedly told officers he was in an argument with Duncan and killed her.
Police said Duncan was found unresponsive with stab wounds to the head. EMS arrived a short time later and pronounced her dead at the scene.
Jackson was arrested Wednesday evening afer being released from the hospital.
