BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - Southern University is celebrating its Homecoming this week culminating with the football game Saturday against University of Arkansas- Pine Bluff. Pre-game ceremony at 5:30 p.m. and kickoff at 6 p.m. at A.W. Mumford Stadium.

Here's a list of some of the activities.

Thursday, Oct. 2:

Homecoming Concert will be held in the F.G. Clark Activity Center at 7:30 p.m. The event is free for all SU students with a valid ID card and $40 for 18 year-old and older, with valid ID card. Tickets can be purchased at the SU ticket office or Ticketmaster. 

Jaguars on the Greens Golf Tournament Kickoff and Happy Hour at Hotel Indigo Downtown 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Friday, Oct. 3:

Morning School Take Over in the Smith-Brown Memorial Student Union courtyard at 9 a.m. 

Lagniappe Day & Pep Rally for all SU alumni and current students. Student Union courtyard beginning at noon. There will be an old school Greek stroll off and more. 

Jaguars on the Greens Golf tournament 7 a.m. at Copper Mill Golf Course and Happy Hour at 3 p.m. at Hotel Indigo Downtown. Go to evenbrite.com 

Alumni Townhall Meeting, Southern University Law Center, 11 a.m. 

Alumni Open House, 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. 

The David Quiett Homecoming Golf Tournament 8 a.m. W.W. Dumas Memorial Golf Course. 

Fundraising reception with NFL Hall of Famer Aeneas Williams at the Camelot Club downtown from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.  Cost is $500.  

Gala on the Bluff at 8 p.m. featuring Tony!Toni!Tone!, Harry Anderson and the Jazzy Jazz band, and the Michael Foster project. It will be held at the Belle of Baton Rouge. The cost is $100. Go to galaonthebluff.net 

Alumni Roundup featuring Doug E. Fresh and the Rebirth Brass Band at the Student Union. 7 p.m. The cost is $50. 

Old School Reunion 80s and 90s party. Lyceum Ballroom downtown, 9 p.m. to 2 a.m. Go to eventbrite.com

Saturday, Oct. 4 Game Day:

Homecoming Parade & Showcase of Bands in the Scotlandville Community. Parade will roll at 8 a.m. The grand marshal will be SU alum and NFL Hall-of-Famer Aeneas Williams. 

Homecoming game with Southern Jaguars taking on Arkansas Pine-Bluff Golden Lions. Kickoff is at 6 p.m. Pre-game ceremony at 5:30 p.m.

Old School Reunion 80s and 90s party at Quarters. 9 p.m. to 2 a.m. eventbrite.com
