BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - Traffic around Baton Rouge's health facilities can get out of hand quickly and the Baton Rouge Area Foundation wanted to hear just how bad it can get.
The foundation is looking to transform the areas between Interstate 10, Perkins, Essen Lane, and Bluebonnet into an official health district.
It is considering adding a center for diabetes and a full four-year medical school to the area.
The first phase of the master plan is resolving traffic congestion to improve the flow of people and vehicles in the area.
Foundation officials wanted input on how the proposed facilities would impact traffic.
