BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - The man police say burglarized two businesses and left a bottle of orange juice behind as evidence has turned himself in.
Richard Slang, 23, surrendered to the BRAVe team Wednesday night around 7 p.m. He was arrested and charged with 11 counts of simple burglary.
Police say Slang broke into the Gourmet Girls business on Perkins Road and stole about $2280 worth of electronics, cooking materials, and cash. While inside the business, he left a bottle of orange juice which police say he brought into the business. The bottle was sent to the crime lab and Slang's DNA was found on it.
Officials say he also burglarized Frankie's Dawg House on Cedardale where he stole $300.
