Police searching for Tigerland shooter

BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - Baton Rouge Police need your help tracking down the man they say opened fire near a popular group of bars near LSU on Sunday.

It happened on Alvin Dark Avenue near the Reggie's bar in Tigerland.

Investigators say 23-year-old Jerome Verret opened fire after getting into a verbal fight. He allegedly shot one man in the leg and another in the stomach. Both victims are expected to survive.
