Lafayette Parish, LA (WAFB) - A Lafayette man has been arrested on 20 counts of child pornography.
Attorney General Buddy Caldwell issued a news release saying 38-year-old Daniel E. Reed has been charged with 20 counts of possessing pornography involving juveniles.
If convicted as charged, Reed faces up to 20 years in prison on each count of child pornography. Reed is being held in the Lafayette Parish Jail.
Attorney General Caldwell said, "We are using the latest, most advanced resources available to find and apprehend these cyber criminals. And we will continue to expand our efforts and stay current with the ever changing technology used by these predators."
