ZACHARY, LA (WAFB) -

Officers with the Zachary Police Department are searching for a man accused of stealing around $400 in meat in August, and of trying to steal $600 in meat earlier this month from LeBlanc's Food Store in Zachary.

The first theft happened on Aug. 31 where a man made off with about $400 in meat products.

On Sept. 4, 2014, according to a store employee, the same man is accused of trying to steal approximately $600 in meat products.

Surveillance video captured the suspect leaving the store without the meat after being confronted by a store employee.

The man was seen leaving the store parking lot in a 90s model, black, Ford F-150. The vehicle is missing the rear glass on the driver's side back window.

The Zachary Police Department is asking anyone with information to call the Criminal Investigations Division's Office at 225-654-1905.
