Tigerland shooting injures two, police searching for suspects

BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) -

The Baton Rouge Police Department is searching for suspects involved in a shooting that injured two people, early Sunday morning, near Tigerland.

Investigators say it happened at 4445 Alvin Dark behind Reggie's at around 3 a.m. Officials say that after a verbal altercation occurred, a 23-year-old male victim and a 20-year-old male victim were shot. One victim was injured in the leg, and the other was shot in his abdomen.  The victims were taken to a local hospital in a privately owned vehicle, and their wounds are not life-threatening at this time. 

Detectives say the victims were not LSU football players.
