BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - "I did it. Let's go to jail." That's what 29-year-old Rueben Maurice Crawford allegedly said after officials found 5.6 pounds of high-grade marijuana that had been mailed to his apartment on Coursey Boulevard.
Narcotics agents with the East Baton Rouge Sheriff's office had set up surveillance Tuesday night after learning about the possible delivery. After the drugs were delivered, Crawford confessed. Agents secured a search warrant and also found $1960 in cash.
Crawford was arrested.
