GROSSE TETE, LA (WAFB) - The manager at the Tiger Truck Stop in Grosse Tete, La. who was arrested Tuesday morning after allegations of inappropriate behavior with a 16-year-old boy was "relieved" of his duties at the truck stop last week.

Iberville Parish Sheriff deputies say 60-year-old Scott Holbrook of Maringouin, La., has been charged with indecent behavior with a juvenile, computer-aided solicitation of a minor, and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

"As of Sept. 3, Mr. Holbrook has been relieved of duties, resigned his position, and is no longer an employee," Tiger Truck Stop President Michael Sandlin said in an email sent to 9News.

Sandlin also said he was "shocked" by the allegations.

Detectives obtained an arrest report after the father of the 16-year-old found inappropriate text messages on the teen's phone. Officials say Holbrook and the teen had been texting back and forth for weeks.

Holbrook was arrested Tuesday morning in Iberville Parish after he turned himself in. His bond was set at $100,000. He has bonded out of jail.
