Police: Suspects use fake credit card, spent $29k at jewelry store

BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - Two women are wanted after police say they used a stolen credit card and fake driver's license to buy more than $29,000 in jewelry from Lee Michael's Jewelry inside the Mall of Louisiana.

Baton Rouge Police say the women were in the store on August 23, 2014 around 4 p.m.

Police say the women presented the fake ID and other personal identifying information, along with the stolen credit card to purchase the items.

The credit card belongs to a person from Florida.
