BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - Rules for exotic animals in Louisiana could be getting tweaked.
State Wildlife and Fisheries hosted a public meeting at its headquarters Tuesday night to hear opinions on new regulations.
Some of those include limitation on owning an exotic cat as well as guidelines for annual permits.
But not everyone was on board with the changes including a worker at the Grossse Tete Truck Stop with a tiger.
"He needs to live a better life, and really that's the bottom line," said one woman. "Tony needs out of the truck stop."
