Saints sign 10 players to practice squad

NEW ORLEANS, LA (WAFB) - The New Orleans Saints signed 10 players to their practice squad Monday morning, including a Louisiana native who played college football at LSU and McNeese State.

Mickey Loomis, the executive vice president and general manager, announced the following players were signed:

Nic Jacobs - Tight End

Brandon Coleman - Wide Receiver

Todd Davis - Inside Linebacker

Terrence Frederick - Cornerback

Seantavius Jones - Wide Receiver

Antoine McClain - Guard

Tavon Rooks - Tackle

Lawrence Virgil - Nose Tackle

Trevin Wade - Cornerback

Pierre Warren - Safety

Jacobs is from Many. He initially signed with the Saints as an undrafted free agent. He caught one pass for 15 yards in a preseason game. He spent his senior season in college with the McNeese St. Cowboys. In 2013, he caught 32 passes for 453 yards and 13 touchdowns. He spent his first three years of college at LSU, where he caught five passes for 58 yards. He played in 19 games, but only started one.
