MIAMI, FL (WAFB) - The National Hurricane Center reported what was Tropical Storm Dolly has weakened to a tropical depression continues to move farther inland over eastern Mexico.
At 7 a.m., Dolly was located at 21.7 North, 98.8 West, or about 65 miles west-southwest of Tampico, Mexico. Maximum sustained winds were 35 mph and it was moving west at 8 mph.
The center of Dolly is expected to continue moving inland and weaken further as it does so. Forecasters said they expect the storm to dissipate later Wednesday.
