BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - Some of the most creative residents in Baton Rouge are getting the chance to make more art, thanks to an initiative called Creative Louisiana.
Creative Louisiana is a monthly hands-on lecture series for, as the name describes, the creative type. The program is completely free and allows attendees the chance to use their talents to generate new ideas, stories and even business solutions.
Founder Wendy Overton says the more people who show up, the better the experience.
"Joining in with the community is a great way to help you keep the resistance from sabotaging you and to inspire you with fresh ideas and a way to turn your ideas into reality," Overton explains.
