ST. GABRIEL, LA (WAFB) - The Iberville Parish Sheriff's office is getting warrants to search phones and computers as part of the investigation into the murder-attempted suicide involving Scott Rogers.
"I want to see whatever information is on those devices," says Iberville Parish Sheriff Brett Stassi.
WAFB also received a copy of a note that authorities say they found on a bedside table in Rogers' home on the day of the murder.
Rogers, the Around Town Talk Show Host, was shot Wednesday by his son-in-law Mathew Hodgkinson who then turned the gun on himself, according to the detectives. Those who knew them said Hodgkinson and Rogers were also lovers. Hodgkinson used the last name Hodgkins in his professional career.
Sheriff Stassi says Hodgkinson remains in critical condition.
