BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) -

Some drivers ran into problems due to a partial road closure on South Choctaw Drive in Baton Rouge that was caused by a ruptured gas line Thursday morning. The roadway has been reopened.

A Baton Rouge Fire Department hazmat crew was called out to South Choctaw at Oak Villa Boulevard to investigate.

Curt Monte with BRFD said all lanes of South Choctaw were closed at Oak Villa while repairs were being made.

Officials said a water company was digging and hit the line. No injuries were reported and there was no impact to the public.
