Orlando Magic VP says scouts are natural leaders

BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - The vice president of the Orlando Magic spoke to business leaders and tomorrow's leaders at a Boy Scout luncheon Tuesday.

"And so my speech today was built around the seven qualities of leadership excellence:  vision, communication, people skills, character, competence, boldness and a serving heart," says Pat Williams.

Williams says Boy Scouts programs foster leadership and in writing the books on leaders, Williams says he found many were scouts as kids.

Tuesday's event at the Hilton Capitol Center raised money for Istrouma Boy Scouts. Williams currently lives in Orlando and told a crowd that his wife is an LSU graduate.
