BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - A state audit uncovers flaws in EBR Public High School Academic records. The latest investigation into EBR record keeping stemmed from a state education department audit earlier this year. The report noted some differences in the way grades were entered in the paper records from school to school, but did say the electronic records were more accurate.
“The electronic records that they maintained were really pretty good,” says Roger Harris, director of the investigative audit. “And so we basically recommend that they use the electronic records for any type of reporting they do instead of the paper records.”
In response to the audit, Supt. Bernard Taylor said he is aware fo the concerns and has taken steps to prevent future errors in managing student data.
