BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - LSU Health officials are asking students who traveled to certain areas overseas this summer to check in with the Student Health Center on campus.
The Student Health Center is hoping to monitor anyone who traveled to Guinea, Liberia, Nigeria, or Sierra Leone for any reason within the last 30 days, just as a precaution, after the Ebola outbreak there.
Health officials say they are not aware of any students with health issues related to the outbreak.
For more information about this, go to http://www.shc.lsu.edu/ebola.html.
Students who traveled to Ebola-infected areas in the last month should call the LSU Health Center at 225-324-5084 or after hours call 225-324-8594
for important information.
