(CNN) - Beyoncé and Jay Z's trip to Cuba in 2013 was totally legal.

The U.S. Treasury Department's Office of Inspector General released a nine-page report Wednesday saying the couple did not violate any longtime U.S. sanction laws during their visit.

They took the April 2013 trip around the time of their fifth wedding anniversary.

There was concern the entertainers may have engaged in tourist activities that are illegal under the U.S. embargo against Cuba.

But the reports states their trip was properly licensed under an educational exchange program.
