Denham Springs man arrested for third DWI, other charges

LIVINGSTON PARISH, LA (WAFB) - A 47-year-old man was arrested for DWI for the third time along with several other charges.

David Poole was stopped b authorities on Aug. 19 after authorities saw him driving erratically in the Watson area. They say he ran through several red lights and passed vehicles in no-passing zones.  He was stopped at La Highway 16 north of LA Highway 1022.  Poole refused to take the field sobriety test so he was placed under arrest.

Authorities also discovered nearly a gram of methamphetamine in his car along with drug paraphernalia.  He was also driving with a suspended license.  

In addition to DWI, he was charged with running a red light, passing in a no passing zone, operating a vehicle with a suspended license, manufacture/distribution of narcotics and use and sale of drug paraphernalia.
