CENTRAL, LA (WAFB) - Neighbors in Central got a chance to take a look at the Sullivan Road Project Tuesday night.
The plan is to widen the two-lane highway from Wax Road to Hooper Road. State Highway officials held an open house at Central Middle School to answer questions.
“We want to gather information from the public - especially people who drive this road and use this road on a daily basis to see if we missed something - we know what works engineering wise - we want to know what works for the public as well,” says Trey Jesclard, project manager.
DOTD officials say once they get the funding, they hope to start construction in Fall of 2015.
