BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - Fans poured into the Maravich Assembly Center and Carl Maddox Field House for a chance to meet the new crop of Tigers during LSU Fan Day.
The event started around 3:30 p.m. Sunday, but fans had to wait until 5 p.m. to meet the LSU football players. It lasted until 6:30 p.m.
Head coach Les Miles and his staff, along with LSU cheerleaders and the Tiger girls, signed autographs, joked with fans and even posed for pictures. Mike the Tiger also made an appearance.
The first 3,000 fans who arrived received an LSU Fan Day gift bag that included a football placard poster and other gifts.
Fans were also able to meet members of the LSU volleyball team at the Maddox Field House.
