Prairieville man arrested for burglary, theft

PRAIRIEVILLE, LA (WAFB) -  A Prairieville man has been arrested and charged with two counts of simple vehicle burglary, simple burglary, theft of a motor vehicle over $1,500, simple criminal damage to property less than $500, theft less than $500, resisting an officer, simple criminal damage to property between $500 and $50,000, illegal possession of stolen things over $1,500, and fugitive from another agency. 

Deputies say Seth Falcon, 27, broke into a CB&I building on Perkins Road and two company vehicles, and damaged several items of property.  Officials say the suspect drove the company truck and exited the property by ramming the fence with the vehicle.

Another deputy spotted the suspect  and the suspect fled on foot and into Bayou Manchac.  Other deputies arrived on the scene and ordered Falcon out of the water.  

He was booked into the Ascension Parish Jail.
