An event Tuesday marking the completion of renovations to the new Laboratory Building at LSU’s Animal Food Sciences Center is being called historic.
The project started 20 years ago. Ag Center leaders say they didn’t start moving dirt until Jindal took office.
And now thanks to $20 million dollars in state investments, the renovated lab will help move LSU to the top of the class when it comes to animal and food science research.
By the way, the Jindal administration has earmarked more than $700 million for projects at campuses across the state.
