ST. FRANCISVILLE, LA (WAFB) - Gov. Bobby Jindal celebrating the success of the Paper Mill in St. Francisville.
Since re-opening in 2010, the company has grown to 295 employees and has provided more than 1,200 jobs in the region.
“You might think well I don't work in the paper mill. I don't work at KPAC. But we're all impacted,” Jindal says. “You got 1200 families spending their dollars on a local economy. If you sell groceries or if you sell trucks or if you work in a business or if you work in a restaurant, chances are you're probably impacted by what goes on in this mill today.”
