BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - Baton Rouge Police say two recent robberies do not appear to be related.
The loan business Broke till Payday off of Florida Boulevard was robbed Monday. Officials say a thief stuck an object against an employee's back and demanded money. It is still unknown if the robber was armed.
Then Sunday morning an Exxon gas station off Highland Rd. was robbed at gun point. An black male suspect entered the business while armed with a handgun, approached the clerk, and requested money from the cash register.
"At this time there is nothing that is linking these cases together, but investigators are looking into each one," explained Cpl. Don Coppola.
