Police need your help identifying Exxon robbery suspect

BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - Baton Rouge police need your help identifying a suspect they say is responsible for robbing an Exxon Station on Highland Road early Sunday morning.

The robbery happened at about 2:15 a.m.  in the 5200 Block of Highland.

Investigators say a black male entered the store armed with a handgun, approached the clerk and demanded money from the cash register. The suspect then took an unknown amount of money along with several items from the store and then fled the scene.

Witnesses say the suspect got into an older model, white American-made vehicle that was driven by another unknown black male.

The suspect that entered the store is described as a dark-skinned black male, around 5'11" and between the ages of 17 to 19 years old. At the time of the robbery, he was wearing a white t-shirt, khaki pants and a blue baseball cap.
