Suspect wanted after seen using stolen debit card

BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - A man is wanted for allegedly using a stolen debit card, according to the East Baton Rouge Sheriff's Office.

The card was taken from a vehicle that was burglarized at the Race Trac located on Siegen Lane at around 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, July 31.

The victim told deputies that an unknown suspect entered her unlocked vehicle while she was inside the store and stole her purse, cell phone, and her debit card. The victim then reported that the card was used at the Midsouth Bank ATM on Siegen Lane, shortly after it was stolen.

The suspect is described as black male, approximately 25-30 years old, wearing a black skull cap, white tee shirt and has an earring in his right ear.

Anyone with information concerning this incident or the identity of the suspect is asked to contact the East Baton Rouge Sheriff's Office at 225-389-5000.
