BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - Have you been digging through store coolers across the area only to find there isn't a Coke with your name on it? Well, there's now some good news for you and others.
The "Share a Coke" campaign is in Baton Rouge. A kiosk was set up at Town Square in downtown Baton Rouge on Thursday.
It allows people to receive a personalized Coke with their name on the can, no matter what the spelling.
Coke representatives said the campaign is just about making people happy.
“It was hot out here and the sun came out and a kid was crying and gave him a Coke and he sat down in his chair and started smiling,” said Barret Blondeau. “It was a beautiful thing to see. It was really cool.”
If you missed the event on Thursday, you have a couple of other chances to get your own personalized can. The "Share a Coke" kiosk will be at Blue Bayou on Friday from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m. and Saturday from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m.
It will also be at the Tanger Outlet on Sunday from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m.
