BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff Sid Gautreaux has a new title behind his name.
“I’m just overwhelmed you know,” Gautreaux says. “I’m very humble and very honored by the fact that I was chosen to be a part of this."
He’s now a member of the Louisiana Justice Hall of Fame. Gautreaux and six others joined the ranks of other government and civic leaders honored for their dedication to protecting residents.
Sheriff Gautreaux began his career in law enforcement here in the Capital City 38 years ago.
