BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - A man wanted in connection with a shooting that left another man fighting for his life is now behind bars.
The Baton Rouge Police Department said Jonathan Foster, 25, is charged with attempted second-degree murder. His bond was set at $80,000
Authorities said the shooting happened on Prescott Road, north of Howell Park on July 13.
Police said the victim and Foster had been involved in a previous argument. Foster allegedly confronted the victim and, according to police records, the victim threw a bottle at Foster, who then fired a gun, when things got heated between the two.
The victim was taken to the hospital in critical condition. His current condition is unknown.
