BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - The Third Annual North Baton Rouge Community Education for Careers Fair is happening Thursday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Baton Rouge Community College's Student Activity Center on North Acadian Thruway in Baton Rouge.
The event features more than 20 area employers and community resource providers that will give information on job training programs and services. The purpose of the event is to raise awareness of opportunities available to north Baton Rouge residents.
Participating companies include Exxon Mobil, Turner Industries, unions, apprenticeship programs and others. Attendees will also learn about academic programs offered by BRCC, trade unions and adult education program.
The event is free and open to the public.
